Ingredients for Tea Cake Recipe
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ lemon, peel only, grated
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup creamed butter
- ½ cup milk
Instructions
- Mix together flour and sugar.
- Add butter and eggs.
- Beat vigorously for 3 minutes.
- Add little by little the milk and continue to beat.
- Add raisins and lemon peel.
- Bake in greased cake mold in moderate oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
