Ingredients for Sweetbread With Carrots And Paprika
- 4 carrots, peeled, sliced
- 4 pieces sweetbread
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup milk, scalded
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Boil the sweetbreads for about 4 minutes in salted water.
- Remove sweetbreads and pare them.
- Put sweetbreads, butter, carrots, paprika, water, milk and seasonings in a kettle.
- Cover.
- Let cook slowly for about 35 minutes.
- Then serve.
