Sweet Pickled Pears Or Peaches Recipe

Instructions

1. 6 pounds of fruit, 3 pounds of sugar, 1 quart of cider vinegar, 1 heaping teaspoon of cloves, 2 heaping teaspoons of cinnamon.
2. Cook until tender, and pour the hot syrup over them.
3. Put the spices in a bag and cook with the sugar and vinegar.
4. Put in a stone jar with the spice-bag on top, and cover closely.
