Sugar Beets

• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• 2 tbsp. cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/4 c. vinegar
• 1 can diced or sliced beets, reserving 1/4 c. juice

1. Stir together the sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Pour into a large pan.
2. Stir in the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
3. Heat on medium and slowly add the vinegar and beet juice.
4. Stir while cooking until the mixture thickens.
5. Add beat, stir well, and serve.
