Ingredients for Stuffing Recipe 3

  • 1 lb. chestnuts
  • 1 can mushrooms, chopped
  • 6 truffles
  • 1 slice raw ham
  • 1 egg
  • 1 oz. mustard seed
  • 2 cucumber pickles
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon onion

Instructions

  1. Boil the nuts till tender and chop finely.
  2. Cut the truffles into strips.
  3. Combine truffles, nuts, and ham, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add seasonings and spices, and bind all together with a raw egg.
  5. Stuff bird and bake as directed.
