Ingredients for Stuffed Apples Recipe
- 5-6 firm cooking apples
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 10-12 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon brandy per apple
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 brandied cherries per apple
Instructions
- Cut the blossom end off each apple and scoop out the core.
- Fill each apple with chopped pecans, sugar, and brandy.
- Put apples in a pan with a little water and bake on low until done, but not out of shape.
- Just before serving, press brandied cherries down into each apple.
