Ingredients for Stuffed Apples Recipe

  • 5-6 firm cooking apples
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 10-12 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon brandy per apple
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 6 brandied cherries per apple

Instructions

  1. Cut the blossom end off each apple and scoop out the core.
  2. Fill each apple with chopped pecans, sugar, and brandy.
  3. Put apples in a pan with a little water and bake on low until done, but not out of shape.
  4. Just before serving, press brandied cherries down into each apple.
