String Beans With Bacon Recipe 1

Instructions

1. Cut one or two slices of tender bacon in tiny cubes and cook in a frying pan to a delicate brown.
2. Add a pint of hot, cooked-and-drained string beans and it liked a grating of onion or a few drops of onion juice.
3. Shake the frying pan, to mix thoroughly.
4. Add half a teaspoon of salt and one-fourth a teaspoon of pepper and turn into a hot dish.
5. Peas and Lima beans (fresh or dried) may be prepared in the same way.
