Strawberry Pie Recipe

Instructions

1. Line a deep pie plate with puff paste, prick it well, and bake to a delicate brown.
2. Fill it, when cold, with fine ripe strawberries, sliced and sweetened, and pour over a cup of whipped cream which has been sweetened, flavored with lemon, and whisked lightly into the stiffly whipped whites of two eggs.
3. Another delicious pie may be made by pouring a pint of rich custard while still warm over the strawberries in the paste.
4. Serve very cold.
