Ingredients for Strawberry Cheesecake Recipe
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup graham cracker
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 10 ounces frozen strawberries
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
Instructions
- To prepare crust, melt butter and break graham crackers into crumbs. Blend the sugar, butter, and crackers together and press into the bottom of a 9-inch pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Thaw strawberries and puree them with the cornstarch. Heat the mixture over a low to medium heat until thickened but not scorched. Allow to cool.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- On medium speed, blend cheese, sugar, and vanilla.
- Add one egg at a time, mixing well before adding the next egg.
- Divide the batter in half and pour one of the halves over the crust.
- Pour half of the strawberry mixture on top of the batter.
- Repeat layers, leaving strawberry mixture on top.
Using a plastic knife, swirl the mixture to give it a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set. Remove from pan and let chill overnight.
