Spoon Cornbread Recipe

• 2 cups water
• 1 cup white cornmeal
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 eggs

1. Mix the water and cornmeal and bring slowly to the boiling point.
2. Cook five minutes.
3. Add the milk, butter, salt, and well-beaten eggs.
4. Beat thoroughly and bake in a well-greased pan for twenty-five minutes at 350 degrees F.
5. Serve from the same dish with a spoon.
