Ingredients for Spoon Cornbread Recipe
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup white cornmeal
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Mix the water and cornmeal and bring slowly to the boiling point.
- Cook five minutes.
- Add the milk, butter, salt, and well-beaten eggs.
- Beat thoroughly and bake in a well-greased pan for twenty-five minutes at 350 degrees F.
- Serve from the same dish with a spoon.
