Instructions

1. Simmer together for ten minutes three tablespoons of vinegar, one tablespoon of chopped green pepper, a, bay leaf and sprig of parsley; strain into a pint of plain white sauce, add a teaspoon of finely chopped chives and the zest of a lemon.
