Ingredients for Simple Cheesecake Recipe

  • 15 graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease nad flour a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a medium-sized bowl, stir graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together. Evenly press into bottom of prepared springform pan.
  4. In a large-sized bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Mix in milk, and then eggs one at a time, until thoroughly combined. Blend in flour, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour filling mixture into pie crust.
  6. Bake in oven for approximately 1 hour.
  7. Once cheesecake is done, turn oven off and let cake cool inside oven for 5 to 6 hours. By doing this, it should keep your cheesecake from breaking open.
  8. Remove from oven and chill in refrigerator until serving.
