Ingredients for Saute Green Beans Recipe

  • 16 ounces whole green beans
  • 1 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 lg. clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. If beans are frozen, bring them to room temperature.
  2. Heat butter in a frying pan and add the beans. Cook over medium heat.
  3. Mince the garlic and add it to the pan. Saute ingredients together until beans are tender but still crispy.
  4. Remove beans and place them in a dish or bowl.
  5. Add lemon juice to the pan and stir until warm.
  6. Drizzle lemon juice over the green beans.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
