Ingredients for Sally Lunn Without Yeast Recipe

  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 scant cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and add sugar and cream.
  2. Beat egg yolks and add to sugar and butter.
  3. Sift flour with baking powder and stir in first mixture, alternating with milk.
  4. Fold in beaten whites.
  5. Bake in flat pan and eat while hot with butter.
