- Take 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons sugar, and a speck of salt; beat these together; then add 1 pint of milk and flour enough to make a batter like that used for griddle cakes; dip hot rosette iron in batter and fry in hot fat; serve with garnish of currant jelly and top each with whipped cream.
