Ingredients for Rhubarb Pie Recipe 1 1
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1½ cups sugar
- 3 cups rhubarb
- 1 tablespoon sweet butter, cut into small pieces
- Pinch of salt
- Pie crust

Instructions
- Wash rhubarb, cut off root and top ends, peel and cut into small pieces.
- Line pie plate with pie crust and fill with rhubarb.
- Sprinkle with cornstarch, sugar and salt.
- Place the butter pieces on top.
- Wet edges of the under crust with water, cover with the upper crust and press edges slightly together.
- Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for about 35 minutes.
