Ingredients for Quick Bran Bread Recipe 3

  • 2 cups bran
  • 3 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1-¼ cups bread flour
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • ¾ cup corn syrup
  • 2 ¼ cups milk

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients. Add the corn syrup, milk, and beaten egg.
  2. Pour into two medium-sized bread pans oiled with corn oil.
  3. Let stand twenty minutes.
  4. Bake forty-five minutes at 350 to 375 degrees F.
