Pumpkin Pie Recipe 3

• 1 cup dry mashed pumpkin
• 2 cups hot milk
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon fine cracker crumbs
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup molasses
• A few grains salt
• Pie crust

1. Heat the milk.
2. Mix together the cracker crumbs, sugar, and salt. Stir them into the pumpkin.
3. Stir in the beaten egg and molasses and mix thoroughly, then stir in the hot milk.
4. Stir well together.
5. Pour into a crust with a built-up edge and bake in a medium oven till set.
