- Prunes (leftover), cooked, passed through sieve
- Apples, cored in the middle
- Sugar
- Butter
- Water
Instructions
- Boil the sugar with the water and the prune puree to make a thin syrup.
- Place apples in baking dish or pan with a little water and butter.
- Pour the syrup over the apples and bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
