  • Prunes (leftover), cooked, passed through sieve
  • Apples, cored in the middle
  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Boil the sugar with the water and the prune puree to make a thin syrup.
  2. Place apples in baking dish or pan with a little water and butter.
  3. Pour the syrup over the apples and bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
