Ingredients for Prune Fluff Recipe

  • 1½ pounds dried prunes
  • ¾ cup whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Wash the prunes, and put in boiling water for a few minutes.
  2. Drain, and soak in sufficient cold water to cover for twenty-four to thirty-six hours or until the prunes are soft.
  3. Drain off the liquid.
  4. Remove the stones, and pass the prunes through a colander.
  5. This quantity should make three cups of pulp.
  6. Whip the cream, and fold into the prune pulp.
  7. Serve in stemmed sherbet glasses.
