Ingredients for Pork Smoked Shoulder With Dried Peas Recipe

  • 1 smoked shoulder of pork (soaked 10 hours)
  • 6 cups dried peas (soaked 6 hours)
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Place pork and peas in a kettle.
  2. Cover with water to 5 inches above the shoulder of pork.
  3. Cover.
  4. Boil slowly until shoulder of pork is tender, allowing about 25 minutes of boiling for each pound of pork.
