Ingredients for Pork Chops With Onions And Pickles

  • 8 pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 onions, peeled, chopped fine
  • ½ cup pickles, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1½ cups water
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry the pork chops slowly in the butter in a frying pan for about 20 minutes.
  2. Remove pork chops from frying pan and place in oven to keep warm.
  3. Put onions in the frying pan and fry to a golden brown.
  4. Stir in the flour.
  5. Add the water, let boil for 3 minutes and season.
  6. Pass through a strainer over a sauce pan and add the pickles.
  7. Let boil for 2 minutes.
  8. Pour over the pork chops.
