Ingredients for Porgies With Bacon
- 8 porgies, small
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/3 cup water
- Butter
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Season the porgies.
- Put them in a buttered baking pan with the water.
- Place slices of bacon on top of the porgies.
- Bake in hot oven for about 10 minutes.
- Then serve.
- If bacon becomes crisp too rapidly, sprinkle with water.
