Poor Man's Dessert Recipe

Ingredients for Poor Man's Dessert

• 12 crackers
• 3 tablespoons jam (any kind, but must be thick)
• 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
• 4 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

1. Put some of the jam on each cracker.
2. Add the sugar gradually to the beaten egg whites.
3. This will make a meringue.
4. Cover each cracker with some of the meringue.
5. Place crackers on a pastry sheet.
6. Bake in slow oven for about 4 minutes, or until browned on top.
