Ingredients for Poached Eggs With Red Cabbage And Bacon Recipe

  • 8 poached eggs
  • 1 red cabbage, medium size, washed and shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put bacon, cabbage, butter, and seasonings in the boiling water.
  2. Let boil for about 20 minutes.
  3. Drain off water.
  4. Serve poached eggs on top of the mixture.
