Ingredients for Poached Eggs, Creamed, With Bacon Recipe

  • 8 poached eggs
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 cups hot cream sauce (1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper, 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice, 3/4 pint thick cream)

Instructions

  1. To make cream dressing: mix salt and pepper with lemon juice. Gradually add thick cream, stirring constantly.
  2. Fry the slices of bacon.
  3. Place the bacon on plate.
  4. Place the poached eggs on top.
  5. Pour over them the cream sauce and serve.
