Ingredients for Poached Eggs, Creamed, With Bacon Recipe
- 8 poached eggs
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 cups hot cream sauce (1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper, 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice, 3/4 pint thick cream)
Instructions
- To make cream dressing: mix salt and pepper with lemon juice. Gradually add thick cream, stirring constantly.
- Fry the slices of bacon.
- Place the bacon on plate.
- Place the poached eggs on top.
- Pour over them the cream sauce and serve.
