Pineapple Frappé Recipe

Instructions

  1. If the Pineapple Smash is frozen it can be served as Pineapple Frappé.
  2. Pineapple Smash: Boil together for 3 minutes 1 cups water and 1 cup sugar.
  3. Add 1 pint can grated pineapple and Juice of 3 lemons.
  4. To 1 cup of mixture add 1/2 cup ice water and turn into refrigerator pan and leave in refrigerator until frozen, stirring occasionally.
  5. Put the remainder in refrigerator but not in chilling unit.
  6. To serve put 2 ice cubes in tall glass.
  7. Strain the syrup and put 1/3 cup on the ice cubes.
  8. Almost fill glass with Ginger ale and add a Spoonful of pineapple sherbet, a sprig of Mint and a Maraschino cherry.
