Ingredients for Pie Crust
- ½ cup shortening
- 1¼ cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Cold water to moisten

Instructions
- Sift flour and salt and add sugar.
- Work quickly with the tips of the fingers the shortening into the mixture.
- Use enough cold water to make the particles of the mixture adhere together.
- Turn on floured pastry board and roll, handling as little as possible.
