Ingredients for Pheasants With Apples And Raisins
- 2 pheasants
- 8 apples, peeled, cored, quartered
- ½ cup raisins, washed, boiled for 2 minutes in water
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup water
- Seasonings to taste

Instructions
- Put pheasants in a roasting pan with butter and seasonings.
- Roast in moderate oven for 35 minutes.
- While the pheasants are cooking, put apples and water 'in a stew pan.
- Cover.
- Let cook slowly for 20 minutes.
- Mash with a potato masher.
- Add the boiled raisins and mix well.
- Serve the apples as an accompaniment.
