Ingredients for Percolated Coffee Recipe 1

• 1 cup finely ground coffee
• 6 cups hot water

Instructions

1. Put coffee in upper part of glass coffee pot and put hot water in lower part.
2. Light alcohol lamp.
3. Let water boil and enter upper receptacle for 1 minute.
4. Remove light while water runs back to lower receptacle.
5. Put light back until water again boils and has risen to top.
6. Remove and extinguish light, remove upper globe, and coffee is ready to serve.

Coffee mug may be too hot to touch initially
