Ingredients for Peppers (green) Stuffed With Raisins
- 8 green peppers, washed, cut on top, seeded
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- ½ cup raisins, washed
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 egg
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Boil the raisins in a little water for about 2 minutes.
- Drain off water.
- Mix together the bread crumbs, raisins, melted butter, egg and seasonings.
- Stuff the peppers with the mixture.
- Put peppers in a small baking pan.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
- Then serve.
