Ingredients for Peppers (green) Stuffed With Ham
- 4 large green peppers
- 6 slices cooked ham, chopped fine
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- Seasonings to taste
Instructions
- Cut off the tops of the green peppers.
- Seed them with a teaspoon.
- Wash the inside.
- Mix bread crumbs, egg, water, seasonings and chopped ham together.
- Press this mixture into each green pepper.
- Place peppers in a buttered pudding dish with 1/4 cup water.
- Bake in moderate oven for about 20 minutes.
- Then serve.
