Ingredients for Peas And Celery Roots, Mashed

  • 4 cups green peas, shelled
  • 4 celery roots, peeled, sliced
  • ½ cup milk, scalded
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Mashed Recipe, Boil peas and celery roots in salted water for 20 minutes.
  2. Drain off water.
  3. Pass through a sieve.
  4. Put pea and celery pulp in a stew pan.
  5. Place stew pan on fire.
  6. Add slowly the milk, butter and seasonings.
  7. Mix well and serve.
