Ingredients for Peanut Fudge Recipe 1
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Boil milk, sugar, vegetable shortening, and salt until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water, or 240 degree F.
- Remove from fire, add nuts and vanilla, beat until creamy.
- Pour into vegetable shorteninged tins, and when cool cut into cubes.
