Ingredients for Peach Preserves Recipe 1

• 1 1/2 pounds peaches, peeled, pitted, cut in halves
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 2 cups sugar

Instructions

1. Boil the water and sugar until the syrup coats a spoon.
2. Add the peaches and boil slowly and gently until the peaches are clear.
3. By that time the syrup will be thick.
4. Place peaches in sterilized jars, pour over them the boiling syrup, and seal.
