Panned Oysters Recipe

Ingredients for Panned Oysters

  • 1 cup oysters
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • White pepper
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • Salt
  • Toast

Instructions

  1. Drain and wash the oysters.
  2. Put the fat in the pan and when hot turn in the oysters, adding the juice of the lemon and the chopped parsley.
  3. The oysters should be left only until they ate plumped and the gills are a little ruffled.
  4. They must not change color, or be fried in the least.
  5. Season with salt and white pepper and serve on toast.
  6. This will serve three.
