Orange Sauce (game) Recipe

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 orange peel cut into strips in 1 cup of water until tender, add the juice of 2 oranges.
  2. Cook Together 2 tablespoons of butter and 3 of flour.
  3. Add gradually 3/4 cup of white stock seasoned with 1/2 tablespoon of made mustard, 1/4 tablespoon salt, a dash of cayenne, 1/3 cup of red wine, and 4 tablespoons of currant jelly.
  4. Boil thoroughly and add the oranges and the liquids; strain, and serve.
