Instructions

  1. Eight oranges, one-half cup of sugar, one gill of sherry, one tablespoon of Maraschino.
  2. Peel and cut the oranges into thin slices.
  3. Mix all the other ingredients together, stir until the sugar is dissolved, pour it over the fruit, and put it into the refrigerator for an hour.
  4. Orange and lemon juice may be used instead of wine.
