• ½ cup sugar
• Grated rind of½ orange
• 1/3 cup orange juice
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 egg slightly beaten
• 2 teaspoons vegetable butter
• 2-½ tablespoons flour
• A few grains of salt

Instructions

1. Mix the sugar and flour thoroughly, mix all the ingredients, and cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened; then cool.
