Ingredients for Omelet With Peas Recipe
- 1 plain omelet
- 1 pint freshly cooked green peas or 1 can drained peas
- Salt and pepper
- 2 teaspoons rich cream
Instructions
- Make a plain omelet with 6 eggs.
- Heat the peas and season with salt and pepper.
- When the omelet has set and is ready to fold over, put 2 or 3 spoonfuls of the peas in the center. Fold over as usual and place on a hot platter.
- Add the cream to the remaining peas; let it heat quickly and pour around the omelet.
- Serve at once.
- The cream may be omitted and the peas served dry, with plenty of butter over.
