Ingredients for Nut Macaroons

  • 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups nuts, chopped fine
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat whites of egg until stiff and add the sugar and salt while beating.
  2. Fold in carefully the chopped nuts.
  3. Drop from spoon on a greased pastry sheet, and bake in moderate oven until light brown.
