Ingredients for Normandy Pudding Recipe
- 6 ounces bread crumbs
- 6 ounces sugar
- 6 small sour cooking apples, peeled and cored
- 1 saltspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 lemon

Instructions
- Chop the apples lightly.
- Place the apples and dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir well.
- When thoroughly mixed, add the lemon juice and 1/2 of the rind, finely grated.
- Add a little brandy or rum, if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a well-greased mold and cover with a greased cloth or paper. Steam for about three hours.
