Mussels Bordelaise Recipe

Ingredients for Mussels Bordelaise

  • 2 quarts mussels, in the shell, washed
  • 2 onions, peeled, chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon celery, washed, chopped fine
  • Seasonings to taste

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a kettle.
  2. Cover.
  3. Let cook quickly for about 6 minutes or until all the mussels are open.
  4. Serve with all the juice in soup plates.
