Ingredients for Mushroom Sauce Recipe

  • 1 cup brown sauce
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, either canned or fresh
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or half a wineglass of sherry or port wine

Instructions

  1. Slice mushrooms into small pieces.
  2. Roll the mushrooms in butter and saute.
  3. Mix them with the sauce and bring to a boil.
  4. Add lemon juice or sherry.
  5. Serve with roast beef or steak.
