Molten Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients for Molten Chocolate Cake Recipe
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, or bars, cut into bite-size chunks
- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons flour
This recipe creates 8 individual-sized cakes.
Instructions
- Warm chocolate and butter together until melted.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add melted chocolate mixture into egg mixture and beat until smooth.
- Stir in flour until combined.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and place rack in middle of oven. Line a muffin tin with muffin papers. Muffin papers may be sprayed with vegetable cooking spray to help removal.
- Pour batter evenly among muffin tin.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes so the outside is baked but the center is not.
- Remove cakes from tin and take off papers.
- If desired, top with berries or dust with powdered sugar and serve.
