1. 1/3 cup strong coffee in place of water in Chocolate Sauce.

3. Melt in saucepan over hot water
4. 1 square unsweetened chocolate, add
5. 1 tablespoon butter and very slowly
6. 1/3 cup boiling water.
7. Bring to boiling point, add
8. 1 cup sugar and
9. 2 tablespoons corn syrup.
10. Boil 5 minutes, or until of desired consistency, which is best determined by testing on ice cream.
11. Cool and add
12. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and a
13. Few grains salt.
14. Serve hot or cold with
15. Vanilla or other ice cream, mousse or parfait, or use for milk shakes.
