Ingredients for Milk Biscuit Recipe
- 8 oz pastry flour
- 4 oz cake flour
- 1/4 oz sugar
- 3/4 oz baking powder
- a pinch of kosher salt
- 2 oz butter, cold and cubed
- 1 oz shortening
- 8 oz milk
- 2oz cream for wash

Instructions
- Sift the flours, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the kosher salt.
- Cut in the cold butter and the shortening.
- Mix in the milk.
- Roll to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut into 3 inch rounds.
- Wash with the cream.
- Bake at 375 until golden brown.
