Ingredients for Maple Syrup Cake

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups maple syrup
  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and add the sugar gradually.
  2. Add the beaten eggs, then the maple syrup.
  3. Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add slowly to the first mixture, stirring constantly.
  5. Place in greased cake mold.
  6. Bake in moderate oven for about 50 minutes.
