Maple Ice Cream Sauce Recipe

Instructions

  1. Cook a cup of maple syrup and a tablespoon of butter until it drops thick but does not quite form a soft ball when tested in cold water.
  2. Serve hot over each portion of cream.
  3. Half a cup of chopped pecans or English walnuts is a delicious addition to the sauce.
  4. Serve with vanilla or macaroon ice cream.
